Angola: The Government of Angola published the Public Tender for the Concession of the Operation of Port Services in the Maritime Passenger and Cargo Terminals of the Port of Cabinda and in the River Passenger and Cargo Terminals of the Port of Soyo. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen regional logistics, improve mobility and boost the country’s economic growth. 

Ethiopia: Ethiopian Airlines Group and African Development Bank signed a Letter of Intent for financing of world-class Abusera International Airport. The new Abusera International Airport will complement Ethiopia’s recently expanded Bole International Airport, which is expected to reach its annual 25 million passenger capacity limit soon.

Cameroon: African Development Bank Group approves €330 million loan to upgrade Ngaoundéré-Garoua road to improve connectivity and strengthen regional integration. The aim of the programme is to modernise a strategic section of Cameroon’s road network, which is essential for transporting people and goods between the north and south of the country

Trans-Africa Bond Alliance (TABA) launched by Afreximbank and Zep-Re launch the Trans-Africa Bond Alliance (TABA). The alliance will harmonize trade practices and introduce a standardised framework that ensures secure, predictable, and efficient trade movement. TABA is expected to reduce trade barriers, lower costs, and improve efficiency in the movement of goods across Africa. Moreover, TABA will promote seamless cross-border trade and the growth of trade insurance business within the continent, all within the transformative framework of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
